The Hatmaker website is dedicated to the descendants of Melchior Huthmacher and allied families. It is maintained to present literary works in all genres, including works of fiction, non-fiction, and genealogy; and to provide a forum for family interaction and discovery.
The Hatmaker Monument Fund!
Allied families from all over the country are asking for your contributions to erect a monument honoring Hatmakers from The French and Indian War, Revolutionary War, War of 1812, U.S. Civil War, Spanish-American War, and other conflicts and insurrections of the 18th and 19th centuries. To date, about 31% of what is needed to complete this recognition of our brave ancestors has been achieved. Please help to preserve the legacy of service our ancestors have given, many of whom do not have known burial places. The monument will be erected in Campbell County, Tennessee, U.S.A.
